This group is at high risk for cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, dementia, and cancers.
The World Health Organization recommends the following to offset the adverse health factor with at least 150 minutes of regular exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous exercise.
The study also revealed that population in high-income countries was twice as more with levels of low physical exercise compared to poorer nations.
It is found from the study, the increase in sedentary lifestyle in high-income countries attributed to the increase in inactivity among the population.
